Hotdawg Guide Service Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Hi everybody I was out on the Lake on Saturday and we started at 10:30 and finished at about 2:30 it was a beautiful day with the temps at 39 when we started and 51 degrees when we stopped. We caught all our fish on two baits. The first was a American Shad Lucky Craft and a 3/8 ounce jighead with a green pumpkin black flake Gary Yamamoto Hula grub 5 inch on 8 pound flourocarbon line.We tried some deep fishing but did not have any luck. All our fish came in 5-10 feet of water 3/4 to all the way back in the creek arms.Water temps were all at or near 42.8 degrees up to 43.9. I dropped a temp gauage all the way to 45 feet and it was still at 42.8 degrees. The walleye club did a survey at the dam and it was the same all the way to 215 feet!! We need some warm nights and a warm rain or two. Generation is still around the clock on the river and the lake level is 653.91 Good Luck and GOD Bless Hotdawg! Hot Dawg Guide Service
Bill Babler Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Beck and I are sticking the Champion in at Tucker in the Morning at daylight. Two stickbait rods each will be it for us. Bluffends, Creek Transitions, and gravel Rolloffs in the front ends will have to work, or we will do without. Thanks for the report, we will let you know. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Bill Babler Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Fish, You boy's keepin Bankers Hours? You would think you could find a little better fisherman to tote you around lower bull. We are in a White Champ with a duce and a quarter ProXS. I believe we will start at Bear, and that general direction. Probably end up going down though. If you see us hollar. I have not seen Jeff in a while, would be good to say howdy. BB http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Fishrman Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Sorry Bill, should have come by, but didn't want to bother you guys. Next time we will. Jeff and I fish together several times a year. Told Jeff about your trip today and said congrats. Thought when you boys went by to load up that the bite was dying. We were right. See ya later.
