Members kcbear Posted March 4, 2010 Members Posted March 4, 2010 Just set up with a buddy to hit Stockton this Sunday (along with about a gazillion other guys suffering fishing withdrawal this year). In Bob's last report, he indicated that the fish probably won't be moving much til the water starts to warm. Now I know I have a tendency to rush things, but-- Do you guys think the warmer temps this week will do anything toward turning the bass, walleye on. Any updates, suggestions on where to fish, etc. would be nice. We will be leaving KC about 5am-- should be in Stockton by shortly before 8am. All suggestions are greatly appreciated. KC BEAR
straw hat Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Don't know what it is worth but I have spent a lot of time around Greenfield landing and Springfield cove the last two weeks, including today. I have only heard of two keeper bass during that time and have not meet anyone with a keeper walleye yet. I know that most of the crappie and bass that I have caught (including today)have been 10 to 12 feet deep and very sluggish. With this warmer weather the bass should pick up soon. Good luck.
