launched out of Big M both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was slow and the water was 41-44 degrees. We fish up from up river from Big M and I had 7 fish total i keeper LM. 3 on a swimming grub and 4 on a Spro, missed a couple of others on the Spro. We did quit fishing from about 7:45 to 10:00 and watched one of the FLW boys or we might have caught some more early in the morning.

Fished down river from Big M on Sunday and found water temps from 43-48 degrees. Didn't have any bites on grub or wart or dragging a jig. Caught 9 on Jerkbait with 3 keeper spots, missed a couple of others, I was throwing a Spro, partner was throwing a deeper jerkbait.

Skeeter, sounds like a good day overall. ;)

Just curious about your partner throwing a deeper jerkbait. I don't hear much about the deeper diving jerkbaits here on the boards; but people talk about trying to get jerkbaits down deeper. Did he have much luck with the deep diver?

yeh he had 4 fish on the deeper bait with one keeper and I had 5 fish on the Spro with 2 keepers. His was an off brand but it was pretty much like the lucky Craft Deep Divers. Color didn't seem to matter much. We caught them on 3 different colors. I did catch one on a deep diving bait on Saturday also Table Rock shad color.

can anyone post a picture of 'table rock shad' color.

Thanks,

David

Looks like it has chartreuse sides with a purpleish back. I guess it depends on the brand. Strange you brought that up. I could swear I bought some Pointers in table rock shad last year that were white side / black back.
