Samkam1 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Tried for walleye up around the dam -- no luck. They havent moved in yet....surface temp was in the mid 40s tho and 39 late. The bass were hungry and willing so it was still a lot of fun. We ended up with around 10 largemouth and smallmouth..including my biggest ever, just under 7 pounds! Hope the walleye will be in there this weekend...this warm spell should "heat" things up!!!
straw hat Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 WOW!!! Congratulations on the great bass. What did you catch him on?
Samkam1 Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 WOW!!! Congratulations on the great bass. What did you catch him on? he took a tiny chartreuse crappie jig tipped with a minnow...small spinning rig. It was quite the battle!!
Gilly Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Man, that's a nice fish! Headed to Stockton this weekend to work on the house (we live in Papillion, Ne. Just south of Omaha). That fish makes me want to bring the boat too but I promised the wife we'd work on the house the whole weekend. What the heck was I thinking of? Yeah, that's a nice fish... big fish....fishing....fishing rods....tackle......hmmm, maybe I could sneek in some shore fishing. www.drydock516.com
