Members rlcarter Posted March 10, 2010 Members Posted March 10, 2010 went down to k-dock monday was fishing the channel drops, did alot of graphing and could find anything, went back south past k-dock and finally caught a 15" walleye on a wind blown point on a smoke swimming minnow.. that is the only bit i had all day..talked to some other guys at the ramp and they said they went up to beaver and didn't do any good, said that friday they graphed fish everywhere but nothing monday..sorry its not a better report.. Rusty My brother and I got to K-dock about noon Monday, went to Snap, caught 3 LM, 2 on brown wort, 1 on shaky head. Went up to Cedar, extremely crowded, went up to bank below Johnson Bluff, 1 15 inch Kentucky on wort. Went back to Cedar, fished up in Cedar....NOTHING. Saw boat at mouth of Creek catching fish (Whites). Eased down to mouth, saw fish on sonar, caught 16 good white 1 to 1 1/2 lbs sows this was about 5 pm. Just like Bill Bagler stated in his article about catching whites on the Rock. You could see the fish explode off the bottom when you caught one. Paco
Members rlcarter Posted March 12, 2010 Author Members Posted March 12, 2010 looks like i did go up far enough, the last report that i read was that the whites were on the channel drops at snap..they are moving up faster that i thought..havent fished out of k-dock but a couple of times, i have a lot to learn about this area..my dad and i had a good time anyway..
