Fishing Report

Once more we had a great time at the Landing . The fishing tournament was a nice experience and we are glad that the funds raised will once more help with progress on the YMCA. Vince was a pleasure to be with and his attention to Jean and to me was outstanding. I did enjoy the hour and a half that I spent with him Wednesday evening and he sure gave me a lesson on how to use the Pink Jig. In that short time we caught perhaps 60 fish with Vince catching more than 2/3 of them. He said I missed many strikes and no doubt I did not see many of the light ones. Jean and I had our best day Wednesday and caught 63, with the Red Midge being very good to Jean from morning till about 2. I used the Zebera Midge and the Red ( Mink) scud most of the time. Jean hnd a very nice Brown of 16 inches or more and I had a Rainbow of about that size.
