TroutRinger Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I am going down on Friday between the dam and the boat ramp hopefully by about 2 or 2:15. I'm 20 years old, 6 feet tall, I'll be wearing a camo hat, blue lens sunglasses, light tan waders, and a tan vest with BSSP tags on the back. If you want, give me a shout. It'll only be my second time down there so I could always use some pointers. Sam "Of all the liars among mankind, the fisherman is the most trustworthy." Never know what you might hook into...big flies = big fish!! Chance ...I'm haunted in my dreams of waters I have yet to fish and trout I have yet to catch... Chasing the Dream...
TroutRinger Posted March 17, 2010 Author Posted March 17, 2010 I need to work real early Saturday morning so I can't stay too late, but if the fishing is good I'll stay till 8 or 9. While we're on the subject, you guys have any tips on night fishing since I want to do it a lot this summer. Should I bring a bright headlight for walking around with a red game light for tying or should I just bring a little cap light for tying hooks? fly2fish Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I will be down there Thur, Fri, Sat, nights for sure. Troutringer use the smallest headlight you can get by with for tying on flys. If it is a bright night you don't even need it on to walk around but if you are not familiar with wading the area at night leave it on while moving and off while fishing. Leonard will talk to you Thursday. F2F
