Roaring River Whites

Got on the water at 5:30 and off the water at 7:30 with my six year old son. Had twenty whites all being good eating size males( 12 inches or so) with one big sow in the mix. Trolled with a crawdad color shad rap may have done better with casting, but that was going to be impossible with a six year old. Lots of boats and did see some fish being caught, but the six year old seemed to have the hot pole. All in all a good couple of hours.

That's very cool jay! I'm a firm believer, that white bass fishing is an excellent way to get a newcomer or young person addicted to fishing. Man, if you can get into them white bass; they're a hoot! I bet the little guy was thrilled.
