Members danny Lawrence Posted March 20, 2010 Members Posted March 20, 2010 My son and I went out at 1:oo pm from hickory hollow went up the kings to 86 bridge we got into the whites around the bridge. we lost count at 60 we took 30 home there was a mix of males and females. It was alot of fun the eggs in the females aren't ready. It seems that people are gitting ruder on the water these days we had one boat with three guys in it that kept crowding us after the third time of them cacthing my line I postioned my boat so they couldn"t fish the same spot we were. We were back at ramp a little after 5:00 all in all a good father and son day.
motoman Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 ........... Great day for father in son indeed! - Those fools being that close to catch your line, that's absurd!?!!?! What a bunch of losers. Those guys aren't fisherman, they're 'catcher'man. Part of the fun is figuring the fish out, and catching your OWN fish. Those jerks! That behavior infuriates me! Good job snubbing them out though! That'll learn 'em.
Jason Essary Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Danny, dont feel bad. Its like that all over when the rivers fill with the whites. Dont matter if theres only a couple boats on the water, catch a few and here they come. I dont fish like that, gets on my nerves too. Members CollegeFish86 Posted March 20, 2010 Members Posted March 20, 2010 I'm starting to carry fire crackers with me! If people get close enough to me that I can drop them in their boat then they deserve it! I had one guy get close enough that we could have shook hands! I know the feeling!
jay bird Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Yesterday as I was trolling with my SIX YEAR OLD up roaring river with a number of boats around, two guys that I thought I was far enough away from casted as far as they could and about put two lures in my boat right next to my kid. There where boats everywhere and I try to give people their space, but this happened to be a spot that my kid had hooked up with fish on the last two passes and I am sure they had seen it and moved in (which I could have cared less) It is only fish and try to treat people like you would like to be treated.
