Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 20, 2010 Root Admin Posted March 20, 2010 Vince and I fished Wednesday evening and again today - put in at K Dock and ran up to Snapp Wednesday and didn't find anything there but a nice crappie. Ran on up to Cedar and found them in 20-25 feet of water on the bottom. White or gray 1/8th oz if the wind wasn't bad and a white 1/4rd oz deer hair jig if it was. Today same thing. Water temp is 45. Have to be at these depths or not getting bit. Light bite today. Several walleye- couple of cigars and a couple about 13 inches. We limited both days. Today was tougher. Fished from 10 am till 2 pm and had it to ourselves. One rig at K ramp. Where are you guys? Little cold and rain scare you off??? I did get cold!
Jeremy Rasnick Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 When you say "We" caught our limits does that mean that Vince=24 Whites, Phil=6. Either way you look at it, Vince is pretty handy when you have him in the boat on a white bass trip.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 21, 2010 Author Root Admin Posted March 21, 2010 I held my own Wednesday. But today he kicked butt. But we BOTH got our limits, thank you. And threw back some sows for seed (pic).
bigredbirdfan Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Phil: Are you vertically jigging like a spoon or are you casting out and jigging like trout?
