Snow Fly Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 DaddyO I use the same powder paint Thom mentioned and it really does better than anything I have tried in the past.....I add one last step which has helped a lot with the paint chipping when worked near the bottom and bumping lots of rocks..I apply a coat of Salley Hansen's Hard as Nails. I buy it Walgreens,I always feels a little strange standing with the women trying to find what I want in the nail polish display. 10pointer Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 yeppp sally hansen hard as nails is a great final coat. I need to start to use the powders because the laquers/enamels etc really arent very user friendly most of the time as they are a pain to keep from drying out or getting way too thick
Njardar Posted March 25, 2010 Author Posted March 25, 2010 Thanks to all for the great suggestions. I found the hooks at Feathercraft and have and ordered the powder coat from BPS. Already had the Sally Hansens, I use it as a flexible cement for feather wing cases.. it's a very versatile product. - Charlie
