Members Wildeye Posted March 23, 2010 Members Posted March 23, 2010 How did the latest winter storm treat you all? We got about 5 inches in nw OK, looks like the Tulsa area had alot more, just wondering if the lake got lots of snow or if it ended up being rain? Anyone seen what the rivers look like? Thanks for any info, head that way in 2 weeks.
Quillback Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 We got about 8 inches in NW Arkansas, I noticed on the gauge that Beaver has come up a foot in the last few days. I'm going to try and get on the lake Friday, if I do, I'll leave a report.
jeb Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Yep, we had 8"-9" here by the lake. And it rained quite a bit before it changed over to snow. All the snow in the open areas melted off yesterday, and the rest should be gone today. So lots of cold water running into Beaver. It's sure looking like a late spawn this year. Members LarryC Posted March 27, 2010 Members Posted March 27, 2010 The White is muddy. Seen a lot of boats out but not heard of anybody nailing the whites as of yet. Thunder and lightening as a type this...looks like a good one blowing up. Making Beaver Lake safe for all the little fish...one striper at a time.
