brownieman Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 For whatever it's worth I have fished the Current for 40 years. 99% of my bigger fish(6lbs. and up) have always come at daylight. Undisturbed water is almost a must IMO. later My friends say I'm a douche bag ?? Avatar...mister brownie bm <><
Gavin Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Where you been brownie? River fished well for us this winter...my first fish of the year was a 24" female brown.......at dawn on New Years Day...Friend of mine caught a 25" female at dawn on January 2nd. Maybe there's something to this morning bite, LOL.

Gavin Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Think he means that you better get their before anybody else does in the AM, and make your first cast count. A stealthy approach is a must too. Cheers.
brownieman Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Been layin low Gavin...couple of 5,6 pounders this winter, nothin to brag about. Didn't fish much. Catchin those 2 at daylight kinda speaks for itself, gotta hunch you know, lol. later My friends say I'm a douche bag ?? Avatar...mister brownie bm <><
