timsfly Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Crossed Crane Creek on the way home tonight, it is big and brown and still running pretty hard, but crane clears quickly and it should be fishable by the weekend, just use heaiver nymphs and fish the pocket water. When the water is like it is now, any hole that is over a foot deep might hold a trout, these trout spread out when the water is up, and move around a lot. Buzz Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Thanks for the info Tim. I talked to Chief earlier and he said both Shoal and Hickory were running high and dirty. I hope at least one of them clears by the weekend. I also heard another round of rain may hit us on Saturday. I hope it's a nice little warm rain. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

Buzz, don't know about a warm rain down there just yet. Told Chief I will wait till we can get in the canoes. Forecast up here is almost 80 on wednesday. Sounds like everythings on the high side with the snowmelt/rain happening. KC HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
