Members crawfly Posted March 29, 2010 Members Posted March 29, 2010 The pull off area with limited parking has been eliminated (post & cable) on the southeast side of the bridge. That was the last spot left. They eliminated the southwest side several years back. All that's left is the shoulder of the highway. Just a heads up before you run over expecting to fish there.
smallmouthjoe Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Thanks for the heads up. Too bad, it was a nice little local spot, one of my favorite floats was from there to Hooten. So now to do that float I have to start somewhere below Ozark Park.

Maybe we could talk Wheatenhiemer's woman into dropping us off there and have a truck waiting at Hooten. This really sucks because it was a decent place to take a kid fishing. Lots of fish, lots of tadpoles, what else do you need.
Wheatenheimer Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Maybe we could talk Wheatenhiemer's woman into dropping us off there and have a truck waiting at Hooten. I'm sure she'll do it for a nominal fee!
RSBreth Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 There's another access close by, just look at the road maps or drive around. It's not as good , but you can put in there if someone drops you off.
