TSmith Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Im new to the area of Bolivar and would like some advice on where and when to fish at Pomme Lake(link to google maps please). I like to fish for crappie and bass. Any advice on lures would be great also. I believe that fishing is usually better when there is a full moon. People are more crazy when there is a full moon. Thank God He made fish the way He did so I can have better fishing when people are crazier than normal.
shockley32 Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Crappie - From Bolivar landing you can fish any standing timber, lots of it in that area. Sometimes they want the jig vertical and some times on the fall, just have to experiment. Jigs - Slab busters, triple ripples, tubes, grubs Colors - anything with chart, whites and blues Size - 1/16th - 1/8th Hope this helps. Brad Have your visited Limitville lately?
shockley32 Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Bass - I would head up the pomme river, however any of the small creek arms, points, etc... hold fish. Lures - crankbaits, tubes, spinnerbaits, jigs Colors - crankbaits - anything with a tough of black/chart, purple/chart, black/silver tubes - 3.5 -4" puke, green pumpkin spinnerbaits - white, white/chart, chart jigs - pbj, brown, brown/orange, blue/black Brad Have your visited Limitville lately?
