Members fisherman wannabe Posted April 9, 2010 Members Posted April 9, 2010 Is anyone having any luck at Fellows lake? We have not been there yet this year and was wondering how everyone is doing.
luckycraft Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I was wondering the same thing. The weekend is going to be beautiful and I have to work? Such is life, Work to fish, fish to live.
Members biggbear Posted April 9, 2010 Members Posted April 9, 2010 i havent been in a few days but it has been real hit and miss i dont think the crapie have move up yet but it wont b long before they do
Members BigMinnow Posted April 9, 2010 Members Posted April 9, 2010 Fished fellows and McDaniels lake a couple of times this week, Crappie are still really slow on both. I have no boat so I only fish from docks or banks so maybe they are out a little deeper wee I can't get them.
Members hendernt Posted April 9, 2010 Members Posted April 9, 2010 went yesterday and no btes...the water is still pretty high and muddy on the east side of the bridge. The whites have been hit and miss and havent hooked a crappie yet, but i figure it wont be long for them
Members fisherman wannabe Posted April 11, 2010 Author Members Posted April 11, 2010 I appriciate all the replies, I was beginning to think I was the only one on here interested in Fellow's lake. I hope to go tomorrow, but we will have to see what the family has planned for me. Thanks again.
Members fisherman wannabe Posted April 12, 2010 Author Members Posted April 12, 2010 fished fellows for a couple of hours Sunday evening with no bites. Talked to a few other boats and everyone was reporting very slow conditions. Water temp was at 59 and clear down by the dam.
Hunter91 Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Fished Monday morning for a few hours. My buddy caught a 20 inch musky and I caught a 1.5lb bluegill only two fish we caught. Water temps right at 60. Water was pretty clear. Crappie should be going good. whats up?
Members fisherman wannabe Posted April 15, 2010 Author Members Posted April 15, 2010 I am sorry noone is catching many fish, but I must say it makes me feel a little better. I was beginning to think it was just me.
RSBreth Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 I talked to someone who fishes Fellows a lot, and he said that the Crappie are still out a little deeper on points leading into the coves they will spawn in here in a few weeks. They should really be up there in the next week or so if we don't get a cold rain.
