Looking for a report on whites and hybrids. I am thinking about going next weekend, but don't want to make the 3 hour drive and waste the gas if they have not moved up yet. Wanted to hear if anyone has been catching.

Thanks in advance

Friend of mine went a few days ago and caught a ton of crappie, whites and hybrids. Fishing sounds like it's pretty good. He threw swimming minnows and jigs.

You never can tell about the tail race, but there are alot of hybrids and whites being caught. Water flow is everything as you probably know. Saturday and Sunday will be a zoo. I believe the top water bite is going to start soon. They were hitting on top for a brief period yesterday. The Corp says the water surface temperature is 61. Good Luck.

With the water temp above 60, I would think the hybrids would really be turning on. But who knows, this has been a weird spring. I was down Saturday and a guy next to me caught a 9# walleye that still had her eggs.

The best time to fish is when it's raining . . . and when it's not!
