Running 2 units but barely equal to one unit flow.

Didn't get out as early as I wanted to this am- 6:45 am left the dock. Sun was already up at the dam. Drifted a couple of times from the cable to the top of the first island, once with white and once with sculpin 1/8th oz jig and caught nothing but dinks. They weren't hitting hard either. Then I drifted from the root wade down to Rocking Chair and did better. One nice brown and a couple of 17 inch rainbows plus the dinks again. Nothing really below that. Seems if the sun was on the water the trout didn't bite.

<p>

Drifted from Lookout to the Narrows once with white jigs and caught 10. One brown about 16 and the rest rainbows. Again, dinks but had 4 nice rainbows including the one in the video. These guys are fighting harder than I can ever remember tham fighting. They did take it hard and I had to be deep in the channel with the jig too. Lots of moss on the bottom which is think is a good thing for the bugs.

Hey Phil,

They continued hitting well and we left them biting good at noon. We had a 50 fish day on the jigs with several nice rainbows no browns. They liked the sculpin as well as the white. The larger fish definitely were biting better to the bluff side but several trout following every cast from the shallow side of the boat. You were right in that while there was shade it was the place to be. I had been on BS all last week chasing crappie....or trying anyhow. The cooperative trout were a nice break.

Talk to you later,
