Donna G Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Good job in AIA. I love me some Redfins. Makes the bronzebacks REALLY mad. Your Mrs. is a trooper. I see the bandage in the pic. Guess I'll quit whining about the little split in my pointer finger and the smashed digit on my casting hand where Champ188 stepped on the rod box that I had open with the pinkies in it. Ouch! Have you seen him?!?! Anyone familiar with RD Mercer has heard the line "How big a ol' boy are you?" He came up with that quote when he saw my manly man. lol Oh, and Techo, we didn't use any Redfins in Aunt's Creek. Seriously. Honestly. You can trust this face, right? We won't go in Aunt's Creek this weekend either. Truly. Have a great week. techo Posted April 19, 2010 Author Posted April 19, 2010 She is the toughet person I know by far. Sounds like the two of you ome from the same cut! Tough ladies with huge hearts. We plan on going Friday and Saturday. I am hoping for rain those days as it chases some of the people off the lake. If you guys are going...let me know and maybe we can hook up for a sandwich at lunch or something! Tim Carpenter

Although I'm not sure it would show up on my first-of-the-year-racoon tan. lol Yep, we'll be there. Did I mention Aunt's Creek. ha, ha. We're staying at Harper's in Kimberling City. We'll go straight to the lake early Saturday morning and spend the night at Harper's and fish all day Sunday heading home that evening. I'll tell Champ188. That sounds like fun. Send one of us your cell in a PM and we'll respond with our numbers unless he already has yours. Tfsh4bass Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Sorry to piggyback on this but didn't want to start a new report thread. I had a great trip Thursday the 15th fishing from around 10am until 10pm in the Baxter area...caught a ton of good fish all day on a variety of baits with most fish coming on a jerkbait and spinnerbait very shallow. I know it sounds like BS but I know I had over 30 keepers and I couldn't tell you how many fish I caught. After dark I just threw a blade and only caught 7 but all 7 were really good ones. The key was getting in the wind blown pockets and moving the bait very fast...after dark I slowed down a bit. Great day though and another great Spring on the Rock.

Whack'emGood Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 SOUNDS like BS, but it sure doesn't LOOK like BS. Those pics sure don't lie. Way to go man. Whack'em "Success builds confidence, and you have to learn to trust your instincts and forget about fishing the way a tournament is supposed to be won. I'm going to fish my style and make it work for me." -KEVIN VANDAM "Confidence is the best lure in your tackle box." -GERALD SWINDLE "A-Rig? Thanks, but no thanks. If I can't catch them on the conventional tackle that I already use, then I guess I just can't catch them." -LK (WHACK'EM)
