Tim,

Our first place payout is a $43,000 Z9. Easy solution for AIA anglers. Fish with us Saturday only for $110 or Saturday and Sunday for $160. Our rules allow us to weigh their big bass on Sunday and return it to the anlgers and they can still participate in the AIA stringer event (***If AIA allows***) on Sunday afternoon.

Reminder that the first 100 to enter for a two day entry get a Quantum PT Energy Rod. So even if you're going to fish one day then you're still up if you get a rod and only fish one day. http://www.quantumfishing.com/products/1917/Energy-PT.aspx

KVD is my favorite Pro angler not from the Ozarks. I saw him at Bass Pro a couple of years ago and he was obviously in a hurry and trying to leave after a seminar. A couple of fans were asking for autographs as he was walking out the door and he was pretty courteous with the situation. He was a Professional pro!

You should read the AIA rules before misleading AIA anglers. It is a rules violation to leave your boat during tournament hours. The exception to the rule is an emergency or boat break down.

I was planning on fishing your event on Saturday, but have withdrawn due to your obvious attempt of self promotion at the cost of others. Not a very smart business practice.

How do I deal with those who ignore the 50 yard encroachment rule?......I show them just how accurate I am with a crank bait! rtj4bb.gif

Mike,

It was good to see you on Saturday! I was aware of the rule as my partner is a female and can't leave the boat to pee. There is a thread on here somewhere about it. Of course if Shell has to pee bad enough we will gladly be disqualified if we have to. She is obviously low maintenance, but I don't see her peeing in a coffee can wrapped in a rain slicker! Good to point it out though in case someone wasn't aware!

I am really really loyal to AIA as they always treat us well and we are just fishing for fun. We do hope to qualify for the championship again this year though. Another circuit I tried before AIA was not so nice and had billing problems.

No harm in promoting the KVD tournament that is fashioned like the Big Bass Bash that AIA does though. It sounds like it could be fun....Shell and I are AIA folk though!

PS Any chance for a port-a-potty at the weigh in?

Tim,

Always a pleasure to see you. As far as Mrs Techo is concerned with bathroom duties, that is not a problem. The business card issued to the anglers with your boat launching # during registration has the tournament directors phone numbers on it. All the is needed is to give them a call and I'm sure she would be granted permission to leave the boat. For a woman, I can see this as an emergency.

In my opinion their is way to many unknown variables with allowing anglers from one tournament to leave their boat for another tournament held on the same day. I'm not saying anyone would cheat, but by not allowing anglers to leave their boat removes all doubt for the situation.

You did very well Saturday, I'm proud of you. You brought in a good sack.

Time and S&M,

Not to change the subject, but whats the entry for the AIA? I saw earlier the post of play both tourneys, I wondered if that would be legal. Thanks S&M for making it clear so that someone doesnt get into a mess.

Jason,

Hate to step on the original poster's thread, but AIA entry is $140.00 I think with big bass. The first time you pay a membership fee of 20 or something too. They are very nice! Quite a few OAFers fish their tourneys.

I agree with Mike.....asking for trouble for people to go to one weigh in with other people and their big bass and then go to another at the end of the day.

Either way best of luck to both tournaments!

Guys,

We handle multiple weigh-ins all the time. If it's an AIA rules issue then please disregard. It's not a violation for us and we have a specific process to handle. Sorry, if someone misinterpreted the post. We aren't speaking for AIA we are speaking for our group.

I'll revise.
