jdavis Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Lilley, I am planning on trying the Kerr to Blunk float you suggested Sunday. Should I expect to see many other boats on this part of the river? Do I need to put in early to avoid the booze crowd? I was planning on throwing various grubs and Rebel Crawdad crankbaits. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I had also considered bringing my flyrod. Any guidance would be helpfull. I have fished the lower strech of this float from the bank during the white bass run, but have never actually floated it. I will be sure to post a report.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 8, 2006 Author Root Admin Posted June 8, 2006 I would have liked to had thrown a small sluggo in the slow pools and when it flattens to the lake. I think it would work- and I love to throw one. Crawdads always good. Take your time and fish the river. We didn't fish any of the flat/lake part- it should be good too. We didn't fish it cause we ran out of time.
