SCUDZ RULE....do you have some kind of a mental issue ? I don't get you at all...carry on with your randomness.

Randall...I love my waist-pack. It currently holds 2 double-side fly boxes in the middle compartment along with the fold down foam patch being full of flies. I could stick 2 medium sized boxes or 1 large box in the large compartment but I usually keep my licenses, phone, camera, snacks, etc in that pocket. I've got the thing packed with all kinds of stuff, everything I could need to fish with room to spare. Its a great pack, very comfortable to wear. I will say that I bought mine used off of EBay, not sure if I could bring myself to pay full retail for this pack. I think its like $120 or $130 new? Quality gear but they sure are proud of it.

Why does it matter if I have mental Issues? Yes I do. Was just my observation. I Happened to notice fishing pictures, with all the anglers looking angry, not happy. So I said SMILE, What part don't you get? WAS THAT RANDOM ENOUGH FOR YOU?

From reading your fishing reports, I believe we fish the same areas. You fish at Baptist more than we do but I plan on fishing down there more. There is some sweeeeetttt looking water downstream. We got into several nice fish. I seen a few fish over 20" that I spooked out of holes...there are some toads in there!

That water is awesome down there. One thing I've noticed down around Baptist is that the fish I catch are often where you wouldn't expect them-shallow riffles, slow tailouts, etc, and the awesome looking deep pools can be a little tough. I see big browns sulking at the bottom of them, but I haven't been able to give them want they want yet. One time the guy I was fishing with did hook up with a massive brown down there, but it broke the 6x before he could do much.

Phil, you need to get out there. Its an awesome river. The fishing can be a challenge sometimes but its worth it.

Chance,

Next time you decide to go, give me a call. I'd love to fish that river with somebody that knows the river. I don't mind the challenging times. It makes me appreciate the fish even more when I do hook up.

You and your buddies keep up the good work on the blog. The writing and the art of story telling is being represented very well by you guys.
