What are the bait stores near these locations and what time do they open Saturday morning and Sunday morning and how much?

whens theres not really nice people giving me free minnows when i show up at cc in the evening i get my minnows at the trading post in greenfield. i have had several dozens of minnows from everton and ashgrove both and they wont even make it to the lake. greenfield minnows catch fish i promise.

I agree with Rick about the Trading Post (417-637-2410)in Greenfield being the best. If they are out or if you are coming from the north or fishing Aldrich I would recommend Square Deal (417-694-2716). They are located about two miles east of hwy 123 on hwy 215. I don't know when either open. I also would NOT recommend Lakey's bait just south of Aldrich. They seem to have a math problem, as does Round Two Outfitters in Willard.

Just called them:

Trading Post...530am-10:00pm...7 days a week

Med size minnows 1.70 a dozen

Square Deal....6.00am-? they answered phone at 9:57pm..so I guess they are open til 10pm

Shiners 1.60 a dozen
