Quillback Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Today was the practice round of the White truck tournament to be held on Beaver this weekend. You have to own a white truck to partcipate, here's some of the contestants parked at Horseshoe Bend. I pulled some crawler harnesses this morning for Walleye, not a bite (anybody need some crawlers, I have extras). After wasting a couple of hours doing that, I started fishing grubs in the bushes, and believe it or not, caught 2 short walleyes. Also picked up a few spots, nothing decent sized. Lots of boats out there this AM.
Zack Hoyt Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 So if I use one of the work trucks to haul the boat....can I play??? Zack Hoyt OAF Contributor Flies, Lies, and Other Diversions
Stump bumper Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Wish I would have known, I pull a white boat with a white Ford Ranger.
jeb Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Funny! I'll have to look at PC marina on my way by this morning to see if they're playing there, too. Caught a 17" walleye up in the shallows yesterday afternoon (9' or so), dragging a short C-rig for bass. Big fat one, too. Wish it'd been 1" longer! John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
