Members cwater Posted May 6, 2010 Members Posted May 6, 2010 Was fishing at Stockton today and seen a snake that was every bit of 5 feet long. I first seen the head and thought it was a turtle. Then seen it swimming. The snake was dark brown with some brown rings around it down by the tail. Anyone know what kind of snake this might have been?

Probably a Cornback Rattler "Some go to church and think about fishing, others go fishing and think about God."

Predator1 Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Sounds like a Transplant. Darn things must have followed me up from Louisiana.
