Members lollygagger Posted May 7, 2010 Members Posted May 7, 2010 Finally went out after snapping my upper leg in two, Oct of 08. Year of rehab. Still a bit wobbly and tenative, leaned or sat on pole seat. Fished upper White and lower Kings. Had 7 that would go including the biggest KY I've ever caught. My board goes to 20 and it was about a half inch past it. And FAT. I'd guess around 4.75. 5 were on gitzits, 2 on Senkos. On do nothing looking, shallow (real shallow) gravel. The big spot was under the corner of a dock in less than 3 ft. I managed to load and unload without causing too much of a backup at the ramp and appreciate the courtesy extended to me. I'm getting older and with a bum leg I'm not as fast as I use to be.
techo Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 There has to be a story on the leg...... Although I grow impatient with people that hog the ramp....I am patient with older folks (like me), families with kids and people that aren't just standing and visiting. If you are in a big hurry, then you shouldn't be going fishing! Glad your on the water! It really helps with rehab. Tim Carpenter
