J-Doc Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Good luck on the topwater action. Post a report if you can. I hope to give it a try myself. Is that an old tri-hull? I can't tell cause I'm viewing on my phone. If so, I think I saw your boat in Rogers the other day. Really nice boat. I have a tri-hull too. It's fishing from a piece of history! Mike I might be looking between Indian & point 8 Sun. Their really liking the buck brush if you can find any. Bites pretty well over by 8am. They left the river last week. We should start getting more fish up this way. Good luck.
Members 3outfishing Posted May 12, 2010 Members Posted May 12, 2010 Does anyone know where the mud line is, or if it is muddy from the rains around Prairie Creek area.
jeb Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Prarire Creek, Coos Hollow and Ventris were all VERY clear on Tuesday, which was after the big rain we'd had. I was quite surprised by that. I was able to see down a good 12' or so in some areas up in Ventris. Some of the clearest water I've seen on this part of the lake. Which can make for some tough fishing, of course. Quillback Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Clarity is limited in the Hickory creek area, water is green but only about 2 feet of viz.
jeb Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Fished in the Avoca cove for a couple of hours today, in the PC area. Visiability was about 4' or so. John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
