Members ric lee Posted May 13, 2010 Members Posted May 13, 2010 I've mainly fished for crappie at Pomme de Terre but I'm trying to get aquainted with Stockton Lake. Without giving up any secret hot spots, can anyone direct me to some general areas where I may do some quality crappie fishing? I usually put in at State Park Marina or at Cedar Ridge. Thanks.
Predator1 Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 look down a couple of threads. I started A Thread called...ARE THE CRAPPIE STILL BITING. The last post was 5-10-10. The crappie were biting in the shallows on jigs ans shiners. They may have moved to 10ft of water. I am not sure. I have not seen a report for anyone since then.
straw hat Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 If you read my last entry I have been sick with the flu but I figure I am going to hit the lake early next week. I have made a couple of calls to freinds of mine and they say right now the crappie are on brush in 10 to 20 ft of water near channel drops. The problem is that the first 10 peices of brush may not contain one keeper and the 11th may contain several keepers. I hope this helps some.
