Amish Bill Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Good morning. We are new to Table Rock and don't know a thing about it. We will be fishing the Long Creek arm of the lake and would like some suggestions and helpful hints. We are used to fishing Stockton, Pomme de Terre and Truman. We like Walleyes, Crappie, Bluegill, Trout, and just about anything else that would like to get on our hooks. Table Rock is a lot deeper and clearer than the above and not sure how to go about getting started. Any help will be appreciated. thanks again Mrs Amish Bill "Life's too short to fish with a dead minner..."
denjac Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 If you like Stockton you should be at home in Long Creek. Lots of timber and the water is More Stockton like in clairity. For crappie I would fish the bluff banks or the timbered cove mouths. If you get out at daylight throw that spook, or better yet put on a spook jr and you might get into the whites. Trolling points with a deep diver crankbait might pick up anything including the walleye you are looking for. As far as the trout , you will have to go to Tanycomo for that. Also a crappie jig with a jig spinner going down the banks will catch the whole gammit, bass, google eye, perch, crappie. That would be my go to bait for catching numbers of everything.
