binman Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Found the crappie this week end on and around timber in the creeks had the boat sitting in 25-30 ft of water and the crappie were 9-18 ft deep all were caugt on minnows lots of shorts but had some really nice 13 in + fish caught. We were fishing sons creek that's the best I can give you if you don't get bit in 20-30 mins move the whites came in shallow to our lights they came up to 4 ft of water. Walleye fishing is real good try old state park and Hawker Point we have been catching little 10 to just shy of a keeper by the dozens pulling crankbaits over deep water around the mile long bridge by old state park. These fish are any where from 15-25 ft deep trolling over 60 ft all the way to 20 ft just adjust we have caught several good 19 in plus fish this way. Let me know how it works for you if you need more help or info just let me know I will be glad to help out. Brandon Inman
Predator1 Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Nice action. What colors were best on the walleyes? Also, do you use planer boards when you are pulling crankbaits?
binman Posted June 1, 2010 Author Posted June 1, 2010 no planer boards color depends on if its cloudy or sunny just switch frequently until you find what works best in your area. Brandon Inman
