Trout Fishing Around Big And Blue Spring Mid-Lower Current River

Back in the Day ( Really means before your were born!! )

I use to be able to float the Current and catch some trout ( and some were really big ) around where the Blue and the Big Spring flowed into the Current. Is there still a trout population down there? Its been about 35 years since I have been down that far on the Current and I have a wild hair to go back down and see if the trout are still there.

Anybody been fishing and catching trout down there? Don't worry. It would not hurt my feelings to catching some Bass/Google Eye/Sunfish/Walleye down there.

I've caught some trout down near Pulltite on occassion but not regularly. Trout show up in odd places sometimes...usually after major high water events that push them down out of stocked waters both public and private...Not aware of any being caught down that far on the Current but its possible. Cheers.
