TSmith Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 If your at the park you have to go to Pig Pin BBQ its fantastic. Some of the best ribs Iv ever had. I believe that fishing is usually better when there is a full moon. People are more crazy when there is a full moon. Thank God He made fish the way He did so I can have better fishing when people are crazier than normal.
oneshot Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Don't suppose they have a Low Cal,Low Fat Menue? oneshot

dave potts Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 I'll third it. I ate there last night and the night before and the ribs are very good. Very handy when you are fishing Bennett as it is close by and they stay open till 9:00. But don't rely on there "bathroom". It's nothing but one of those portable outhouses way outside in the back. They also have a sink to wash your hands outside. I actually thought Missouri law required all restaurants to have a bathroom inside. Dave
brittsnbirds Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 We ate there one evening and had ribs. They were right off the smoker. Pretty good eating . Was able to sample the briskit , no smoke ring and dry. Few days later tried their pulled pork frito bowl for lunch. If you like sweet it will be right up your alley. With the sweetness of the baked beans and sweet bbq sauce of the pork it was a little too much for me. The boss had a couple of ribs and fries. They cut their fries to order and are really good. Her ribs were warmed up and tasted like they were nuked to warm. Little tough and not nearly as good as the night before!! Guess thats the way it is in the BBQ business. One reason why I won't go into that line of work. They use KC Masterpiece sauce and have a vinegar based sauce that is to die for. Bought a couple of bottles to take home. You can get their sauce at www.bigwoodysauce.com. I will definately try the ribs again but that's about it. I would recommend that everyone at least give it a try, preferrably in the evening as the ribs are just coming off the smoker!! Much better than the other one on the hill!!
FishinCricket Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Is that the old Hillbilly Burger? Yup... A seperate suggestion (based upon the thread title, and not to take away from the BBQ joint) is the Sand Springs restaurant.. Great food and great service, even just soup and salad bar is awesome! cricket.c21.com
