Members scotth Posted June 7, 2010 Members Posted June 7, 2010 Hello, I was wondering if there were any good trout streams other than Tanneycomo that would be big enough for a drift boat. Thanks scott
Zack Hoyt Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Beaver Lake Tailwaters near Eureka Springs, Ar Bull Shoals Tailwaters near Mtn Home, Ar Norfork Tailwaters near Mtn Home, Ar North Fork of the White River north of Mtn Home, Ar(in Missouri) Lil Red River in central Ark There are a few more.....others will chime in. Members scotth Posted June 7, 2010 Author Members Posted June 7, 2010 Thanks for the info. I kinda new about the white river system and I should have been more specific. I was looking for more of the other rivers like eleven point. or north fork of the white, etc, but I don't even know if a drift boat would go down them. I have a couple of young boys that love to fish and a drift boat that I built and beside going out west it would be great to do some trips more often in Missouri. The smallmouth rivers would be great but I just don't know which ones I could take the boat down. Thanks again scott
Gavin Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 The Eleven Point & NFoW see their fair share of drifters...I havent seen one on a warm water stream yet...but you could easilly do sections of the bigger rivers..G. Nade, Meramec, Big Piney, Current below Welch Spring. Cheers.
