Heading to Bull Shoals for the first time this Saturday! Was wondering if anyone had any advice on where to go and what they're biting on. I'm putting in at Tucker Hollow early morning. I'm hoping for a topwater bite then. I love bass fishing but wouldn't mind catching a few wally's either. I'd appreciate any info that's thrown my way. Thanks!

Don't know about uplake but was on the lower end (Oakland area down to dam) for Central Pro-Am and spent five full days on the water. The Walters, aka walleye, were thick around shallow-sloping points, mainly about 15 feet deep just outside the green brush line, and would absolutely eat up a 4-inch Kinami grub in the Natural Shad color. Plenty of bass out off those points too, but most (for me anyway) were small. Any kind of draggin' bait (fb jig, C-rig, etc.) would catch them.

There might still be a flippin bite in the backs of Bear and Bee Creek

HOOK 'EM HORNS
Posted

I fished it a couple of weekends ago when the water was way way way up....we caught lots of LM's and Walleye trolling a full night crawler on a Carolina rig with a 4' leader to my hook.

We pitched jigs with crawfish or babybrush hog trailers.

I dont know what the lake level is now but we put in at a road on the left just before the RAMP at KDOCK. Just backed my trailer off the side of the road in a ditch..worked out great.

I heard leaches work good to on Walleye.
