Members Kurt KC Posted June 14, 2010 Members Posted June 14, 2010 My family is going to Northern Idaho, Coeur d'Alene area, the 3rd week in July. We will be staying on Rose Lake just east of Coeur d'Alene. I would appreciate some tips on fishing the area. A recommendation on a fly shop, guide service, how to fish the area lakes... Anything would help as this is my first time to the area and a relative novice (but obsessed) to fly fishing. Thanks in advance.

He is just retiring from the Forestry Service....avid outdoorsman, wonderful person. If that's anywhere near your area of interest I'd be happy to put you in touch. www.drydock516.com
duckydoty Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Fins and Feathers in the downtown area is the best guide service going. Priest Lake is great for lake trout and is only about an hour north if you plan on venturing out anywhere else. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Quite a distance but if he knows anything about the area I would appreciate the input. Thanks
