I stopped by CC this morning to see if the rain had helped the water quality. Unluckily there had been no improvement. While I was there I did notice that the surface of the lake was covered in small shad. The bass were going nuts busting the shad on top. I also talked to a couple of guys who said they had been bass fishing in the back of both Maze Creek and Turkey Creek but the algae bloom there had gotten so bad they had decided to try CC.
