Don Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 I think I understand. Does each participant tie 24 flies of the same kind and receive 24 different flies back? Regardless, count me in. My favorite fly is the basic scud, but since it's really boring because it only consists of dubbing wrapped around a hook, i will submit a brown ant instead. My name is Don May. Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
Kansas Fly Fisher Posted June 17, 2006 Author Posted June 17, 2006 Welcome Don. Your right, each tyer ties 25 flys and in return will get 25 different flys back. I've added you to the list. Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM

Rolan Duffield Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 This is a proposal for organizing fly collection. Need to identify where the flies are to be sent. Each fly tier is to: 1. Attach each of the flies to an individual card. 2. Identify the fly -- name, size and how to fish the fly. 3. include name and address of the fly tyer. I will volunteer to photograph the individual flies and provide digital pictures to Phil for inclusion on this web site, if possible. Rolan Duffield
Kansas Fly Fisher Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 Thanks Rolan! I figured once we got closer to the number of tyer's wanted I would have everyone email me their address so I could mail out the flys. I use a blank business card for my fly's. They are just about the right size and stiff enough to hold up. I like the idea of the pictures of the flys. Thanks again. Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM
