Members ChadO Posted July 20, 2010 Members Posted July 20, 2010 I'm wanting to go trout hunting this weekend, but the forecast calls for spotty rain all week through the weekend. Is there some good water when it is high and fast? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Also access points as well. Me and my buddies are strictly catch and release and are very conservation minded if that is a concern for anyone in sharing there secret spots. Thanks, Chad
Gavin Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 Every trout stream except the Meramec looks fishable right know....so you should be able to find something. Plenty of maps on MDC's website. Cheers.
Kayser Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Most of the spring fed stuff takes a lot of rain to bump them up and turn them to mud. Pretty much anything should be good, just remember to get your flies on the bottom. Rob WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
