Packersooner Thanks for your help. I hope you guys did better than I did. I struck out. Not one bite. I forgot my worms so I couldn't spot fish any fish I found. The lake is full of fish and bait balls. I couldn't get any to bite my cranks. Again thanks!!

Glad to help out Lonnie. Hopefully, your 997 is still working. Very strange that it just suddenly started working. May have been a bad connection or a pin slightly out of place.

We appreciate you pointing us in the right direction last Monday. We started trolling cranks. After one LM and no walleye, we switched to bottom bouncers just after 9 am. We ended up catching a dozen, but only 2 keepers. We released 4 that went between 17 and 18 inches. They hit on spinner rigs and plain floating jig heads with a half crawler. We fished the flat side, but caught all of the fish in 25 to 40 fow wherever there were humps or basins.

It was a pleasure meeting you Lonnie. I'm sure we'll cross paths again on the water.
