I was recently looking at the 2005 TU 100 Best Trout Streams and noticed that Crane was no longer on the list. I was dissapointed as I have always loved this creek and Crane was on the list in 1999. I recently went down there and the creek was in great shape. However, I wasn't fly fishing when the last edition was published in 1999. Does anyone notice any differences? Or has Crane just lost the attention of the publishers? I would love to here some comments. I'm going down again next week and hope to bring my camera with me this time.

Crane creek no longer supports trout. So go fishing somewhere else :)

Dang poaching otters got most of 'em. And the drought got the rest. That crazy dairy farmer guy (I think his name's Boo Radley, or something like that) scared the crap outta me last time I was there in 2001.

Be careful along that little creek. The chupacabras are thick in there...very large and aggressive. I was chased away from the creek last time by a whole pack of them!

I witnessed a Sasquatch kill one of my fishing buddies. I haven't been back since. I suggest all of you stay away!

Hell... you was drunk and witnessed Ronnie huggin' a tree... with a knot hole. First time a tree ever uttered a chuckle.

The fishing down there has been excellent if you're after creek chubs. Ain't nothin' but creek chubs, suckers, minnows and the occasional grass pickerel in that creek. Seriously.
