I have seen a lot south of Beaver when they arn't generating, last Sunday around 6pm there were shad balls all over the top and they were so big I thought they were whites. I almost went home for the cast net to do some striper fishing. If they are generating you still spot some good size shad around Beaver.

The back of owl creek has some good shad around dark also, but not the really big shad I saw around Beaver.

awesome..thanks for the tips!

I've trolled suggessfully. Usually whenever I get skunked (which is often) I will troll right down the center of the lake and have picked up some large white and black bass. I'll try to fish the rubber worm or spoon first at my favorite spots. If that don't work, of the boats starr getting crazy, it seems to be the only thing that works.

There were some real "idiots" out this evening. Some came by soooo close, I could have throw my lure right over their boats. then they have the nerve to actually wave. I thing I am going to give up fishing from July 4 thru labor day. With the heat and the amount of boats flying around, fishing os getting way too nerve racking.

Maybe take up golf.
