Gavin Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 I havent been down this year yet...but there is usually a huge gravel bar on river right between the FS Boat ramp and the high bridge there at Slabtown...I'd load the boat and head for it if I couldnt find a spot to camp up by the access. My wife and I may put in there on Friday AM...blame us if your fishing is slow. Cheers.
G-ROD Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 I don't think you will have a problem. Go up the wooden steps, there is a nice mowed area with plenty of room for several campsites. -------------------- Mo Smallmouth Hunter Gary
KCRIVERRAT Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Hey GD... thought about floating the same stretch you are this weekend. Instead am heading to the lower Jacks Fork and either the Current from Two Rivers down or the 11PT. Can't wait. I've did Slabtown to Ross many times. You'll have no problem camping if you pull in late. Have fun... can't wait for the report. I'll give one too. HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
