Micheal Kyle Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 I would have to say do what ever it takes to catch the fish. One suggestion take treble hooks off and put single barbless hooks on. The baits will still ride right in the water. Randy you should have said something we could have droped you off. Would have been a long walk from I-44 though. You know us no detours.HA/HA Michael To Know People Is To Know Thier Ways!
Leonard Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Catman... I fish rapalas every now and then.. After a fish put a hook in my knee on night.. I started debarbing those treble hooks.. it a pain the butt trying to get those out in the middle of the night... Also I have found a nice little trick... I smash down 2 of the 3 barbs on the front and back.. fish are released easier and more hook-up then a completely debarbed hook... Leonard http://www.taneycomonights.com
