Members Lucky Fly Posted December 15, 2005 Author Members Posted December 15, 2005 Ollie, Bring that spinning reel down, I don't have a problem (unless you beat me ) Yes, the old lodge where you buy your daily permit during the creel season. Look forward to fishing with you again. Steve "Trout Don't Live In Ugly Places"
MOBass Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 How are the teams put together? Random draw or BYOP (bring your own partner)? I may have missed it somewhere in the other post so if I did please point it out.
Wayne SW/MO Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 If you'll want to abbreviate it, you might consider drawing for one hour in the C&R section, both fish, you pick one to measure. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Brian K. Shaffer Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 Some work came up - so I am gonna miss this trip. Would have liked to have been there though. Catch a big one for me guys - Brian Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
Steve Smith Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Folks; I am going to have to bow out on the 8th. My Granddaughter woke up Christmas Eve with a solid case of chicken pox, so we pushed our family Christmas to next weekend. I’m sure there will be others coming up that we can participate. If I can make a suggestion for the tourney to those who participate. I would keep it from the trophy area upstream to the hatchery. That stretch will most likely yield better fish than the fly area. You’ll catch more fish in the lower fly end, but the quality won’t be a good. Enjoy. ___________________________ AKA Flysmith - Cassville MO
ollie Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Looking forward to fishing this Sunday with everyone. I found out I have the day off and I am going to get busy tying for this weekend. tippet7 Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Tippet.. I live out around Ridgedale.. we can ride out together... (but dont know how long mamma would let me stay) Leonard, do you want to go together? If anyone else in the Branson/Hollister area wants a ride, I can fit 4 adults and all the gear. However I would have to be back in town no later then 415pm. I know that kind of cuts it short, but we have the whole kid exchange to do up in Ozark by 5pm. PM for cell phone number and we can set up a time. John You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.
ollie Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Ok, lets get a head count on this shin-dig. I'm in for sure now, who else is in? I am bringing my son, Patrick Also, I am bringing along a couple of buddies, Shawn and Derek, both are fairly new to flyfishing but are eager to give it a go. The bug has definitely bit them.
