Billfo Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I know this will sound strange to the locals of Table Rock communities but here goes.. We just bought a home on TRL in Lampe. Most of the homes around here have huge "shelf rocks" in their yards. I dont have ANY... Here goes. I know people probably pay to have these removed from their property, but we would like one inserted in our front yard to base our landscaping around. I want to home to look like it was built "into" the surroundings, instead of on a bulldozed lot. Anyone know of someone that would deliver a shelf rock about 6 feet wide, by 3 foot tall and set it in place? * I asked a guy at a Nursery & he laughed & thought I was kidding... So I didnt follow thru.. Thanks, Billfo Email me Red-Right-Returning is for quitters !
Thom Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Most lanscape companies can arrange for those kinds of rocks to be delivered. Check out slide # 14 in this company in your area. click on this link: http://outdoorconceptsbranson.com/outside-garden-center/ there is a fountian with some shelf rocks at the left of the fall. click on outside garden center to find more samples. If you decide to stock trout in your fountian I can arrange for a product testing some week soon after stocking. hopes this helps. Thom Thom Harvengt

Midwest troutbum Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Natures Recreations in St. Louis works with rocks nearly that size.... plan to spend a fortune, as it will require a large crane, tractor trailer and or a trackhoe excavator to place a rock that size in place... Construction companies around your area may be equipped to work with that kind of weight. "In golf as in life it is the follow through that makes the difference."-unknown
