straw hat Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 I picked up a new water thermometer a couple of weeks ago. My readings have been running around 89F in the CC area and yesterday it read 88F at Hawker point. However the official Corp website says that the surface water temp is 80F. I was wondering if any of you had recently taken water temps in either of these areas lately. I sure would like to know if my meter is reading correctly. I would appreciate any help.
Thunderin Gobbler Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 I haven't checked it myself, but everyone I have talked to said it was in the upper 80's too. I like the sound of 80 degrees better, but it's gotta be higher than that. I will try and check for myself saturday.
Thompson Fishing Guide Service Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 The water temperature I marked yesterday was 83 degrees at Hawker Point. It dropped several degrees from Monday when it was 86 degrees.
