jeb Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 I was fishing near Prarire Creek yesterday morning about 5:30. I could see flashing lights on the bridge side of the marina. I watched them on and off while I was up there, and it was clear they were searching the waters. I assume it was for a body. Hard to believe they'd be searching that hard at that time of day for anything else. So did anyone hear of a boat accident on Beaver in the wee hours of Saturday morning? Quillback Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Nothing in today's paper about any accidents on Beaver.

They could have been diving for evidence. I think they dive Beaver Lake many times for such reasons. Sometimes for bodys, other times for evidence. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
sfiser Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 saw them there saturday morning as well. They were just inside the no wake bouys at prarie creek, there were 4 sheriffs deputy cars in the marina parking lot. I asked the guys at the dock when I came in if they knew what was going on. Said they had not heard of anything but they do come out and do water trainings early in the AM a few times a year. Thats what my guess would be.
