Playing In The Rain

Got up 5AM its pouring rain,eat Breakfast its slowed down.I decided to go on over to Barclay.

Get over there its raining again pretty good.I thought oh well give it a try.

I was using Power Bait and Nightcrawlers.Caught one small Rainbow.Not much but go good with the Catfish I had at home.

I'm soaking wet hear couple guys coming down the path.One asked if I was oneshot? Yea.He tells me he is XP590,said he had drove from Columbia and wasn't going to let rain stop him.

XP590 , How far is the drive from Columbia?

Having grown up in Columbia (but now living in Indianapolis) I've driven from COMO to Bennett on many occasions. It's about a 2.5 hour drive, depending on how bad the Lake traffic is.

Whats funny anymore it don't matter where I'm in the state I have people come up wanting to know if I'm oneshot? And whats funny I've been in other states the same.I was in Bass Pro in Springfield had a guy come up ask if I was oneshot? Same thing at Truman Dam.

Really strange have someone in the middle of nowhere in another state reconize you and ask you to come drink coffee and BS.

Truth I live in the middle of nowhere and the only people I meet most the time is through the Internet so it is exciting when I get out and meet people Face to Face.

I dought it,it was so low I went across one creek this morning couldn't tell it had rained but we did get plenty.Suppose to rain again this evening.I just got through scattering some Wheat and Turnip Seed for Food Plot.
