gotmuddy Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Had a great day fishing, took the riverboat out for the first time in two weeks and it was well worth the trip. We caught a couple dozen fish mainly on crankbaits but I caught fish on everything except a jig(minnow, tube, lizard/shakey head, topwater). As with last trip both of us caught a 18" fish, although I must say mine was thicker and girth is important I caught my big fish pretty early in the morning, probably around 8:30 or so on a lucky craft live pointer(american shad). Water was in the mid 70's and tea colored from the rain. The fish didn't seem to care. Onto the pics: the largemouth caught me by surprise because I had never caught one there before. I caught another one downstream. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
drew03cmc Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 That first fish looks relatively healthy. Was this on a larger body of water? Andy
Danimal Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I know where that is. Don't worry, I won't tell. Dan-o RELEASE THOSE BROWNIES!!

Buzz Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Nice fish. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
Al Agnew Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 I know where it is, too...I know the bluff in the background of that one picture! Nice fish. Love it when those clear rivers get murky.
